1) PR Daily
With so many categories like social media, crisis, and marketing there’s a little bit of something about everything. Visiting this site at least once a day will help keep you up to date on all the latest public relations trends. They have their staff write posts as well as publish guest posts, creating content with different perspectives.

2) PR in your Pajamas
With Elena as the public relations professional you can easily relate to her writing makes you feel at ease. Helpful visuals, a dumb downed version or the most jargon filled blog leaves the perfect post for whatever experience level in public relations you have.

3) Spin Sucks
This layout I think is one of better ones, that does a quick summary and title on the homepage without having to go to a sidebar to find categories. If you are really interested in a specific blog they host webinars to elaborate on certain PR topics. I do like the fact that they have a “My Favorites” section for a reference point at knowing what blogs have been helpful to others.

4) Future Buzz
The layout may not be the most aesthetically pleasing, but the content is gold. Although the posts are not on a time schedule and are sporadic, set up a reminder for when they are published. This blog ties in the financial aspects rather than the non-monetary value of the public relations world.

5) PR Couture
This does not cater specifically for public relations but also for designers and fashion. If you want to go into public relations in L.A. and New York, this is best blog for you. Featuring many interviews it’s that “inside look” for those wanting to get into the field.

6) Everything PR
This focuses on more of the news end of public relations, case studies or a take on what’s currently happening. Posting several blogs a day there’s plenty of content to sift through with a bit of Buzzfeed feel in a good way.

7) Little Pink Blog
Pink and glitter may not be my thing, but the words on the page speak for themselves. If your public relations specialty is publicity, this has to be in your morning regiment. Pop culture features who’s now working for whom and what celebrity spokesperson represents what brand each month.

8) Unboxed Thoughts
Within the walls of this blog you will find the thoughts, opinions, and insights of a creative team of communication pros. With more than 20 categories it may seem overwhelming, but they only post about every three days making it easy to skim.

9) Muck Rack Daily
This layout is very similar to Mashable, with trending articles as well as recent posts at the top of the page. Having a “featured journalist” gives you a look into what certain beats journalists are taking over. For those in the field searching for a new job they post a job of the day on top of public relations content to get you there.

10) 6 A.M.
Edelman is a world-renowned public relations agency with the title 6 a.m. they are up and early putting content out before most people are even awake proving they are leaders. Richard Edelman was at the top of PR Week’s list of powerful executives so you get to hear not just from public relations but the business end as well.
